Bag Design

This bag design project offered a fascinating dive into fabric and textile design and manufacturing, a departure from my usual focus on product design. Crafting this backpack presented a unique and enjoyable challenge, shedding light on the importance of CMF (Colors, Materials, and Finishes) design. These attributes played a crucial role in shaping both the form and manufacturing methods applied in creating the final product. Additionally, this project was part of a collaborative in-class effort aimed at developing a cohesive line of outdoor day-trip bags. Our group unanimously opted to utilize durable, waterproof materials reflecting our shared interests in kayaking, biking, and hiking.
