Macro Keyboard

This macro keyboard was one of my first introductions to coding and electronics. The goal of this project was to create a programmable keyboard that could be used for complex hotkeys for adobe suite programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop. The design of the keyboard enhances efficiency while empowering users to navigate through complex
tasks effortlessly.

Crafted with Adobe users in mind, this 9-key macro keyboard allows seamless switching between various shortcut maps tailored for different Adobe products at the press of a button.

Pictured here is the internal construction, composing of a Rasberry Pi Pico, key switches and an RBG LED. Despite my inexperience with electronics the results were ultimatley successful; though perhaps slightly messy.

The housing was designed in Solidworks and 3D printed to ensure all the parts fit as intended while preserving user ergonomics. The opening at the top of the shell allows for a programmable OLED display or LED indicator.
